Getting AIDS treatment to Children

Plus News recently published this article about the implementation of treatment programs for children living with HIV. The numbers continue to show how much work we have left to do. Médecins Sans Frontieres said , “that less than 10 percent of patients on life-prolonging antiretroviral (ARV) drugs are children.” We are reminded that while our efforts to prevent the further spread of HIV are essential so is treating the innocent victims of HIV, children.
